So seeds are very important, 1st EMEA seed will probably have very ez group, no NA and other region 2nd seed teams, kinda brutal format

I don't really hate this. It depends on whether the finals are BO5 or not, I feel like if they seed a top 1 team into a top 2 team in the playoffs bracket for finals, it would be really lame to have that be a BO3. It also depends on if the international seeding is fucked and 3 or more super good teams make it into one group.

Single elim playoffs is poor for selection, but it's hype as fuck because every game in that bracket is an elimination game.

The problem to begin with is, that they have 11 days flat and 3~ games per day on average so it's either this or just a full 16 team double elim bracket it seems.
