Genuinely real question and not meant to offend, but does indian or hindu eat pork? I know thay they can't eat beef, but I've never seen them eat pork either. I know hindu in Bali eat pork but does indian eat too?
It really depends on circumstances sometimes, many of my PURE VEG hindu friends started eating meat at some point in life and not to mention those who moved to foreign countries also eat beef/pork.
My hindu frnd used to eat chicken at school and at birthday parties even though he wasn't allowed by his parents
Too Sigma he kept it a secret from his parents
In my place i havent seen many hindus (non-vegetarian) eat pork. We usually eat chicken, mutton or fish.
Though I have seen few group of people near my area who trade those pigs idk for what.
Muslims here dont eat pork as we hindus dont eat beef (religious beliefs).
Cows are considered sacred since they give milk (which is a huge part of Indian cuisine) and there dung is used for various purposes so they aren't killed just for taste
Pork are sacred to muslims and not too popular among Hindus
If you look in the bible, they prohibit pork ( idk if Christians follow this rule but i know for sure it’s in the bible)
If you look in the Judaism, they prohibit pork
If you look in Islam, they prohibit pork
