I personnally think BO7 is maybe too much but could also gain crazy hype for reverse sweeps and even after a 3-0 you aern't sure if the winning will win due to the longevity of the time played

Who would want to watch this long. It's min 4 maps, probably 5 or 6. Especially on LAN, who wants to be there for so many hours just for one match? Also I think it's way to tiring for the players. So I don't think it's gonna happen.

Pros have said many times that playing a full bo5 itself tires them out too much. Imagine playing a bo7. It would be ridiculous

It would be way too much. A bo7 can work for games like overwatch sometimes, but for Valo and CSGO it's wayy too much

the only way i could see that happening is if there was like a region vs. a region, like all of americas against all of emea type of showmatch, maybe that’s a thing they do next year instead of lock//in, at that point there’s probably gonna be 11 maps for 11 teams so the math checks out

imagine riot does a showmatch like that for charity and had live donations, kinda like the speedrunning events, that shit would raise so much money

Maybe they can do like the leg system in football
Where the teams play 3 maps on day 1, 3 maps on day 2, and the last map on day 3 if the score is 3-3
But that'd give teams a lot of time to prepare ¯_(ツ)_/¯
