Like how Europeans dominate CSGO and Koreans dominate League of Legends
Execpt Champions has more teams playing and is a more important tournament. You know that. What do you prefer winning Champions or 2 masters? Idk.
holy copium. has a few additional teams that lose immediately. literally the same top teams
M8 think about what u saying, that's like saying that a team winning a Dota 2 major is the same as winning The international which had the prize pool of 40 million dollars last year.
They're called majors, but they don't have the same importance/prestige as the international, even tho the teams attending are pretty much the same.
Being the last and most important tournament of the year, teams have more room to praticte, dedicate themselves more and are more focused to win. They are not the same thing.
Acend won 1 Champions, so what are you on about?
EMEA and SA each have 1 Champions. NA has 0.
I never said EMEA was worse than SA. Just saying that comparing masters to champions isn't logical.
after 10 years people will only remember the Champs winners and attach a team name per year (Acend year, Loud year.)
we both know that’s false. Sentinels have triple the fans of every team. a major is a major
Not really. ur just saying that cause Valorant is young. Sentinels followers multiplied not because of winning Masters but because of TenZ and other personalities.
Also, Masters isn't a Major. I can see your flair so I can understand why you want Masters to be like Champions. Literally the end goal of every Pro is win Champs.
Don't worry though, as a fan you gotta trust Sentinels. They have Sacy and Pancada. Might snatch the Champs trophy someday, not the Master's USB stick figurine.
idc about Sen. u are completely delusional. a major is a major. it’s the same exact teams. hop off the copium
Idk man, Champs > Masters. Sorry NA hasn't won a Major yet. Americas = EMEA though, since both got 1 Champs trophy.
when I said hop off the copium I didn’t mean for you to inhale another full tank
acend is the least known major winner. even gambit which doesn’t exist anymore is more well known
Literally no difference in the level of gameplay, and the teams are basically the same. Which team did LOUD beat at champs that wasn’t already at a masters that year?
nah cause we don't have a lot of really strong teams, but LEV and LOUD are prob top 3 teams itw
currently NaVi and Nrg (most consistent teams the past year) + still looking good this tourney
Loud pretty consistent + most recent winner and current powerhouse
Drx, Lev and Fnatic are currently looking like they are contenders for top spots (with the latter 2 still having to prove themselves since its early on in the tourney for them). Maybe 100t too, hard to judge how good EDG are.
"South America is the best Valorant region" no they have 1 trophy when they got more then EMEA that is going to be a reality till then u can only Dream =)
if they win lock//in and dominate americas league and masters tokyo people should take them seriously tbh just like apac got a lot of recognition last year because of DRX zeta and prx
Americas is indisputably the best of the three franchise regions. I think SA needs to at least win 1 more tourney to be the considered the best sub-region.
i think SA teams have the highest ceiling but not the highest floor, so we have a couple of strong teams, but also a couple of weak ones
They will be in valorant as they were in cs, brazil has won 2 majors in cs later eu slapped them and now their teams are not that good
in terms of talent i'd say its a tie between south america and cis but in the future south america because russia t2 scene is dead
Well, jokes and trash talk aside, they are still a decently competitive region... IMO, establishing a dynasty today is pretty difficult to achieve and all that is expected of top region teams is to remain competitive, etc.
On the other hand, maintaining that competitive equilibrium is better for us spectators in terms of overall game interest... more competitiveness, fewer boring games <3
