i mean, me as a better rank player, unlike you all hard stuck silvers, let me try to explain what could have been done better and what were the major draw backs of the game (i will ignore some points of the split game because i didn't watch some rounds and secondly it finished before it was started + also will not include wronski)
also note - it is an unbiased and just an opinion, so fk you if any indian silver kid writes "did'nt asked + dont care " and all. i am just a genuine enjoyer of the pro valo scene.
1} firstly talking about the coach, i have no idea about him, but considering he was talking in his native language in the interview and needed a translator, it could have caused some communication issues in the match. you get very little time to talk with the coach inside a game, so being time the limit, either any team members translate his calls to other or he tries to speak bare minimum English for the team, it could have caused a mess in communication under such a pressure of playing for first time on a huge stage. so there's a possibility that, even having a counter strat with you, but cannot communicate it with ayrin in a proper way, some rounds could have been went wrong.
as talking about the language barrier, 3 of the players are not comfortable with English, so the major drawback, which ayrin even said is a proper communication among the players and the coach, with that being said in the upcoming times, if they learn decent english along the game, it will help them.
2} confidence and body language wise, only ayrin and monyet was looking like they are supposed to be playing the top valorant tournament organized ever, seriously locked in. others were chilling in a ranked game.
3} talking about sk rossi, tbh, he is not up there or it was a bad game for him, and about all the hype around him, his fans have made him look like a clown.
aim wise he may be a good player, but let me dig you more deep down, it seems like he either gets panicked and then does things left and right or has ego issues, he needs to work way more on being disciplined and not giving dry peaks. remember that one round of split on A defence, 4 of them, ayrin texture, rossi, monyet were pushing elbow from ct, texture died by peaking alone, then, rossi , ran out with operator in his hands in hope of trading but unfortunately wiffed. here comes the role of discipline , where rossi could have hardscoped a main, or heaven or even backstab and let the other 2 rifflers run elbow.
on lotus, with sova operator, on c retake, being impatient, man tried to run it down with the hopes of hitting a quick scope or a no scope, he could have got atleast bonecold who converted the round if he scoped in kept watching c main (3-4 round lotus)
on pearl, where he peaked from halls c long, he luckly got 1 and dinked other, but this not a ranked game, this is vct, you are obviously gonna get checked, if not instantly traded, they won that round, but that peak was unnecessary. there were many such incidents, which highlights the fact that he needs to work on being patient and not dry peaking everywhere he want to. i know he has the jett blood, since 2 years playing domestically, but if he works on it, it is great for him, because aim wise i already said we have seen him crack some nice heads.
4} coming to monyet and ayrin, these two are the only players i thought are actually serious about the game and care to win, they were not ego peaking
playing in a disciplined way. looks like monyet was the only one who was able to perfectly give away his duelist role and shift to a support.
5} texture had a bad time considering he has been on the top of leader board in apac, he can do better as a duelist, i mean who saw his jett on pearl which made them win pearl along with monyet.
considering all this also me getting bored of typing, this team, having some of the cracked duelists of the apac, if they shift properly on other roles, with a good coaching and communication and controlling ego, i think they can win some majors in the coming time
also to all calling players bad -
calling players washed is not a good thing, let me tell you all who were debating who is more washed bazzi or rossi, they both were the teams initiator, there job on a pro game is to gather info more than kill players, skrossi was all in just to take straight up aim duels and his util usage was minimum, wherein bazzi was not taking that much aim duels and was dependent on his abilities. this doesnt mean rossi is washed, again coming back to the same point, rossi needs to play more on the utlis than the gun.
so the thing i want to tell you here is calling players washed by being consistent bottom fragger is not something valid in a pro game, there job was to get info than to kill.
