Key Points from Article Interview

  • “CR Gaming School” provides services based on the vision of “seriously facing people who seriously want to improve their game ”.
  • lesson will be held once a week, It's a 90 minute one-on-one lesson, and the main focus is coaching rather than direct teaching (for 3 months).
  • The coaches are not only former professional players in the competitive scene, coaches of professional teams, and analysts, but they also have top-level skills in the industry, having coached hundreds of people
  • Medical Chart evaluation that "visualize" the problems and strengths of the students and established a 10-level evaluation standard for each item with the help of experts.
  • They don't necessarily want tryouts to be the goal . They just want you to talk to your coach, set realistic goals, and work hard to achieve them. Of course, if you don't go to CRGS, you can't get into CR.
  • In addition to requesting submission of entry sheets, they are thinking of setting up an opportunity for an interview.
  • The timing for recruiting students for each title will be narrowed down to once every three months, and it is assumed that there will be about 50 to 60 students each time.
  • Cost 66,000 yen = $490 USD

They starting 1st game education with Apex, but surely they gonna have Valorant later. I feel like this is a good step for JP to develop for their E-sport Scene, as I feel like the people behind this are reliable enough, and have the ability to reel in casual players rather than just developing an academy team. What do u think?

The point that you need to highlight is from ojiji's tweet. This school doesn't teach you how to be a pro gamer or for those who have eyes on the pro scene because there are some people out there misunderstanding the intention of this school.

But ojiji also mentioned that if someone really wants to become a pro or get a job related to their love of the game, the team would love to help as well.

The intention is really simple but actually, like you say, it can be one of the step stone to improve JP e-sport scene in the future.
