I'm kinda confuse to be honest, don't wanna make any kind of confusion before check this with English native speakers.

The clip start at 00:50 where S0m said that he typed GG before the game is over.
I mean, nothing wrong if he said GG for his teammates instead of typing that.

at 1:03 he said again "I typed GG and see the aftershock coming my way".

If he typed GG on the chat in game before it is over it is a disaster (I mean how a pro player stop to pay attention during the game to type).
Honestly I don't know what to think and wanna hear from you guys, Am I missing something? I mean, the word "typed" can be used in another situation than literally type on the keyboard?
