Notice how his performance has gone up ever since the KAY/O Switchup ? Hes been fragging a lot as cypher, kay/o and averages a good amount of assists on KAY/O too. Throughout the whole qualifier the only bad game he has was against envy where he went 4/18. Other than that hes pretty good right now

steel shouldnt be cut he should be switched out for b0i whenever he is having a bad game for example in the 100t v geng game, steel was playing so bad he was not hearing people who jumped/satchel or jett dash behind him and some other old man stuff.

he also had a map in that envy game where he top fragged. Everybody has bad games, including tenz. I definitely agree that Steel is top talent even tho the community likes to make him (and hiko) the butt of the joke a lot of times

Ive played against him in ranked, but obv thats not the same thing. I think if there was no post plant, no judge, and no OP metas to abuse and the game properly balanced, he wouldnt be any sort of special IGL at all, open to being wrong on this one

I actually think the opposite. I think the strategy in this game is pretty primitive and not revolved around the meta or weapons, so I think steel actually is pretty underrated in terms of aim and lurking abilities. Maybe he could develop more complex strats to take sites but it kinda seems like they don't need it.
