SMB/G2 will play Liquid or Guild

I thought liquid is gonna play loser of Acend vs Gambit. But saw a comment in one thread that SMB will play Liquid if SMB gets defeated by G2. Can anybody please clear this? Sorry if I repeat this question

Whoever loses from G2 vs SMB plays against winner of Guild vs Giants/NaVi.
Whoever loses from Acend vs Gambit plays against winner of Liquid vs ForZe
