Why are the valorant community so soft? On CS:GO teams literally play brutal single elimination BO1's against 16yo onliners from Russia and nobody is complaining
Every single match will be hype, stop complaining and enjoy
On CS:GO teams literally play brutal single elimination BO1's against 16yo onliners from Russia and nobody is complaining
arent all the top csgo teams directly invited to playoffs or something?
havent followed the scene in a while so Im not sure, but I remember complaining about single elim existed in literally every esports because it's a valid complaint
I think that it is only for Major Qualifiers. Top CSGO teams still have to do a play-in if they didn't do well. https://www.hltv.org/news/34470/astralis-movistar-riders-eliminated-from-iem-road-to-rio-europe-open-qualifier-3
That qualify was brutal
but CS:GO got 1 huge tournament every 1-2 months tho
meanwhile valorant... once every 3-5 months
just look at the schedule

idc abt the cs part tbh
but i dont see any problem with single elim
there is 32 teams and its kickoff not a year long tourney lmao
we also want to watch all of the games instead of having multiple games on at once in seperate streams
thats fucked
who cars anyway the teams arent 100% perfect yet the result of this tourney doesnt mean a lot to the rest of the year when the teams will have had more time to perfect themselves
stop complaining and just enjoy the fact that you can see your team play on lan even if they are literally dogshit lmao
not true, as much as LoL fans like to bitch about not having double elim
the single elim format is what made each tournament so special
and it's really hard to solve the double elim rematch problem in grand finals unless the team from losers bracket need to win twice (will never happen cuz its not a fighting game)
