ZETA's IGL

The Japanese casters refers to Laz as the leader/captain while casting or whenever they interview him. On ZETA's 2023 roster announcement, Laz is written to be the leader. Even Laz calls himself the leader of the team.

But on the english broadcast, the desk says that the IGL is crow. And also Laz talked on stream after Champs about how you can't see an IGL's impact through the stats, which I assume was to defend crow's poor performance. I'm not the most fluent in Japanese so maybe I misunderstood.

So is Laz or crow the IGL? Is Laz like the leader outside of the game and makes secondary calls? Or is he actually the IGL?

In JP Val scene, the leader of the team is different from the IGL of the team but the leader can also be the IGL. The leader of the team is the poster person for the team. Which is why in ZETA, Laz is the leader, but Crow is the IGL for the team.

I might be wrong but in 100T 2021 roster, wasn't Hiko the captain but steel was the IGL

Isn't it like when the old G2 had mixwell as the team captain but still puts nukkye as the IGL? I might be wrong tho.

i always thought that its just like DRX, where Zest and Laz were IGLing, but then they switched IGLs to stax and crow
