When do you go back to normal rr gain?

As I ended last act as immortal 3 top #2000 i was able to get back to immortal fairly quick with the +30 +35 that i would get from my game wins. Now that im immortal 3 260rr in the new act, i gained 18rr, is this where my mmr reset and im back to normal rr gaining?

Riot drops your mmr low so now the only way you'll increase your mmr is through playing a ton, like, a ton.

By playing a lot you mean win a lot or just play? Because I havent lost a game ever since I won that 18rr from my ranked game so im not sure if im gonna lose like 15rr or if im gonna lose like 20rr so ig ill see tmrw

When you play like a gigachad with impact like multikills, first blood etc.
You get higher RR to move your rank upto your MMR (hidden rank used in matchmaking)
If you're getting Win = Lose RR game thinks you're right where you should be.
If >, game wants you to rank up
Is <, you're boosted and game wants you to rank down.
