I know that face similarity is a important thing in a game adaptation, but the costumes production and her acting about Ellie's strong and stubborn personality makes it not become big problem (almost beign irrelevant tbh)

Yeah first episode was really good especially first half of it (understandably). I guess those early reviews weren't wrong. Only thing that sucks is that we know what will happen at all times because its same story but tbf its a good story so nice to see it again without the repetitive gameplay lol

yeah, this is a perfect story, but in another perspective being way more realistic... specially, not having spores and the infected are a lot stronger and dangerous (as we can notice into the dialogs)

I played TLOU and this shit it's just PURE GOLD AND DIAMONDS, specially when talking about the story of the game itself and the storytelling that Naughty Dog and Neil Druckmann made so many people cry

Elden Ring was way better game than GOW:R, so was RDR2, where Red Dead deserved the GOTY much much more than GOW in 2018 (Most robbed award of all time)

it isnt better than any mainstream series yet

i dont see the purpose of making an adaptation and not make the characters look alike the ones in the game, literally noone looks the same or close.
the acting isnt that special either, the story is basically the same only changed very little things
they did a really good job with environment tho
