I did some research about this and apparently just producing a luxury car from brands like Bugatti and Ferrari contributes to multiple times more pollution than actually driving them, no matter how often it is driven. Altho he is still dumb to think that his 12 cars are causing any significant damage on the large scale (remember climate change is a result of years upon years of emissions)

is there really that much an emissions difference between producing a Bugatti or a Honda?

genuine question

Honda is produced in large numbers and its much more effective which might mean it does less emissions. Not sure tho

Yes there is. And the difference is huge
The main reasons being that

  1. They use special production techniques on many levels of the production which adds up over the total production lifecycle of a car
  2. They use high quality materials which not only lead to resource depletion and emissions during extraction, but they also need to be procured from various different locations across the globe which further increases the cost and emissions caused by transportation of those materials

My research was limited to a few google searches so forgive me if I was inaccurate in my explanation at any point
