OK, to set the scene I go to a school where I'm basically the only person who follows and esport, we've just finished exams and are doing class quizzes to pass time till the year finishes.
Regardless during one of these said quizzes a question comes up:
"What sport was Jaccob Whiteaker given player of the year, 2022"
Our group said soccer.
Now considering what sub I've posted this on probably gives this away but the answer to this question is esports/valorant. Jacob Whiteaker is our very own el diablo, Yay...
So my question to you guys is; am I the only one who would have gotten this wrong or would you guys have recognised the legend?
P.S. this was much more frustrating when I realised I had just watched the score esports episode on him a few days before.
