holy shit these guys are doing way better than I expected of them. If a middle-of-the-pack MENA team like NASR can go toe to toe with Acend and Fnatic with nobody on their team going above 220 acs, then who knows what kind of damage a top MENA team like Geekay or Falcons could do? Was Styling911 right all along?

Well what about Fnatic? The scoreline was close considering that nobody on NASR had above 200 acs and that Derke dropped 400+ acs. If Derke hadn’t popped off like that and sibeastw0w was his usual carry self, I have no doubt in my mind that NASR would’ve won.

Usual Carry Jett maybe against other t2 teams. Guess why Derke popped off and he didn’t? Because Derke is better that’s why he is on FNC

I’m not trying to deny derke’s skill level here but cmon, you gotta admit, 402 acs is fucking crazy even against “tier 2” teams. If he didn’t put up those insane numbers, NASR would’ve almost certainly won.

How is 13-8 an extremely close scoreline, knowing fnatic (with sub btw) couldve easily closed it at 13-3 but took the foot off the gas and threw a full buy against force buy. Derke dropping 400 acs and nasr having no one above 200 acs is not a coincidence, its a result of one team simply being superior to the other. If it wasnt derke it wouldve been alfa, leo, etc.

Overall the teams looked decent so far but the expectations shouldn’t be them beating franchised teams cause that won’t happen

What servers were these matches played on or was it a LAN? If the ME guys were playing on 80+ ping and still got 8 rounds, even against a weak FNC/ACE side that is very impressive.
