Viewership After Franchising

Do you think that franchising will forfeit the viewership at Masters/Champions in return for higher regional viewership in the leagues? Like say if no JP teams or no LATAM teams are able to qualify through the leagues, won't that drop the viewership at actual big events?

I don't think so, there won't be boring teams like XSET, FPX or Acend, now all teams in Champs/Masters all popular brands with super teams. Viewership will be higher

I think they will increase the viewers because there will be more clouted teams and players but there might be a chance that a lot of casual viewers lose interest in the esport because of the long break.
