Genuine question, does the Turkish language not have a word that directly translates to racist? I feel like a lot of Turks use the word way too lightly for what it means. Is this a google translate error or does the entire country actually need to learn how strong the word 'racist' is?

I baited someone too hard that he made a post about meaning of “racist” in Turkish lmao. Anyways in all seriousness my reply there was a bait too but both nationality and race is same word in Turkish thats why some people use it wrong bcz there are no words for racism for nationalities in English as I know.

Usually its either because in high elo its hard to find match in Istanbul server and in medium or low elo, its to avoid toxicity of TR players
