Thoughts on Double Elim?

I think double elim playoffs is okay for masters but champions should have single elim. All matches should be a nail biter imo

the lower bracket run is the most hype storyline in any tournament, single elim just leaves a bitter feeling behind for most people stuck thinking about what ifs

Dogshit. If you win upper finals and your opponent wins lower finals they have the advantage of anti strat you way more

its the opposite no? champions is more important so its the best to have double elim

IT WOULD BE NICE IF:

1. there are more teams in Champ and Round of 16 like FIFA world cup
2. Better seeds, Imagine having 3 Emea or 3 asia or 3 NA teams in the same position of the bracket, 2 already out

with only 8 teams in playoffs and with that shitty seeds its better with lower brackets
