I remember before the Champ I asked for more slots for EMEA and NA and less for asia and SA and everyone was flaming me.

At the end there will be 5 out of 6 teams from NA and EMEA in playoffs (just because its fnatic vs 100t)
and only 3 out of 10 teams from asia and SA

the best player in the world (nAts) couldnt play 2 int tournaments in a row because we have to see for the 10th time another team from asia going 0-4 gg riot games

if you want to see emea and na teams play just watch their vct, why are you complaining about champions slots when is supposed to be an world tournament?

because isnt fair that there are 6 teams from Asia and 3 from Europe or NA, not so hard to understand, I want teams from every region, but with fair slots

bro im emea myself, were a small region compared to asia, maybe na more slots i agree but nah asia is huge compared to other regions therefore disserve more slots as more competition. esports is more commonly accepted in asia "more hype"

bruh its not about which one is bigger in terms of popolation, its a game and u dont know how many players there are in asia and europe, we should give slots to teams that deserve it, im not saying to remove asia, but at least go for 4 na 4 eu 4 sa 4 asia

u ok bro? ofc its about population, your not gunna give a region with 10k population 4 slots lol, emea has around 2.5b population, and asia has double, + more interest for esports, SA will not have 4 slots. they 1 are a small region and 2 has small esports recognition

What? It's not about population. Yes you'd give 4 slots for 10k population if they're better than the bigger population. It's a skill competition not population, what kind of logic is that? And since when Asia has more esports interest?

It's a world champions exactly, why wouldn't you want to have the stronger teams? Not saying to delete asia, but give more slots to stronger regions.

Not only they group us with BR for some reason when we are different regions, but now we get grouped with ASIA to get the narrative going.

international championships is to bring together the best representatives of each region taking into account playerbase size.
you NA EU just want to play with each other because you think you are better, but if you close yourself off, it will only marginalize the other regions, making the gap bigger.
More and more teams from around the world need to play each other so everybody evolves

if u remove slots from minor regions to give more slots to major regions u will kill the game in the minor regions.
It's really hard for a small region to grow when only one team have international experience, thats what happens in Brazil, Latam, Japan and APAC.
New teams should have their chance, even if strugle in the beginning, this is the only way for them to grow.
