FPX sign rhyme and neilzinho for Champions.

As VCT Champions Istanbul rapidly approaches, FunPlus Phoenix has made additions to their roster as Emir “Rhyme” Muminovic as a sub and Neil “neilzinho” Finlay as an analyst during champions.

Rhyme and neilzinho both return to Europe after a short stint in the North American scene with both individuals competing or coaching in VCT NA stage 1. rhyme with Gen.G and neilzinho with DarkZero Esports. While neither individual made it very far within either NA stage, they have made impacts in the Tier 2 scene with DarkZero placing high in NSG and Knights events aswell as Gen.G taking a second-place finish at the BoomTV Spring $20k.

Looking forward, the reigning champs look to continue their domination streak and win Champions Istanbul. FPX’s first match is on September 3rd, 2022 against KRÜ Esports starting at 11 am EST.

I dont think rhyme is a good substitute, but neilzinho is a pretty good addition as an analyst. LFG

With Turkey? There's like 0 problems with Turkey (or at least very close to 0). But since Ukraine is at war and Ange1 is between 18 and 60, there might be problems with him leaving the country. He still has his visa though, it's in FPX article here on vlr.

It's just a precaution in case anything was to happen. Likely wont need to call on rhyme but better to have him there than have to sub coach or FF
