I bought ow 3 months ago to play with my friends (they dont play valo) and I had fun playing. The question is does ow2 have any chance or is the game completely dead?

its dead. OW2 is even worse, bevcause it has less strategy, its more like CoD or BF. and you know that CoD and BF have no esports scene (CDL is pretty much dead)

Its fun game for what it is, but I don't think OW2 will revive it. There's almost no hype surrounding the game. Its still going to have somewhat healthy playerbase because of casuals, but it will not return back to its glory, not even close. And I personally prefer OW1 over OW2 when it comes to gameplay and viewing experience.

ow2 pro scene will be just as alive as the brazilian scene in ow1
