only correct takeaway from this whole thing is froste is a young entitled kid who didn't take advantage of the opportunity given to him, pity but it is what it is.
Most of you kids aren’t in the workforce yet, whether that be a high school job or a career. So just be wary of two things.
From experience, leaders will always try to paint their company in a good light. Even while ignoring the day-to-day issues of their lower level employees. Nadeshot is a perfect example of this (idk his title but he’s like a ceo / founder / high level boss type shit), and he has a much bigger platform to potentially abuse than his ex-streamers.
Also, big companies only have profit in mind. It’s easy to support your fav esport org, or sport team, etc. But ultimately they are no better than any other large company. They can fire “at will” if they want.
That said, it does sound like they squandered a great opportunity. Then again, I’m not a 100T fan so it’s easy to look at it from a more neutral standpoint.
I think the optimal take is: 100t put them in a bad contract from the mobs pov. But it's on them for not fully reading/understanding it, or making the most of the opportunity. I think they are both at fault to an extent but the mob people are worse.
Look at classify, man's doing great. Same think with JHB, they both grinded now they're in really good positions.
I’m guilty of squandering some good opportunities. I’ve made a few big mistakes in my life. So I can see from both perspectives, I guess.
Then again, I haven’t followed this closely since I have better uses for my time.
My main point was to caution fans from blindly supporting an org and it’s ceo with a bully pulpit. Because more likely than not, most of us here are lower level employees who have complaints about their bosses and management.
And there’s always 3 sides to a story.
