Yes: if one of the starting players got covid or travel restrictions, Nats can be a good fill for them
No: possible travel restrictions like i mention, less time to prep for him and the team and lastly, i don’t think the Champs teams are allowed to make a roster move unless emergency situation like above
I think theres a roster lock before champs once its locked it cant be changed until its an emergency.

This was posted on aug 8th , that's like the start of EMEA LCQ . So it's clear they wouldn't have approached Nats . But after 15th aug there is a possibility.
Any idea when is the roster lock for champions?
They had a 6 man roster which means they can have multiple switches ina series like one person for one map and one for the other, here the case is different because idk if theres a little for how many players you can have ina a roster but once you have announced the players you cant change them unless its an emergency.

sub = 6th man, 6th man ≠ sub. a sub is the 6th player of the team but a 6 man roster can also just be that they have a 6th player playing certain maps
a sub is needed when a player from the 5 core couldnt play, like fpx situation. fpx can loan a player, signed with other team or F/A, because their situation is an emergency. however you cant loan a signed player if its not an emergency, like Guild unfortunate situation with Twisten.
6th man is like DRX when Lakia used to be with them. Lakia played in certain map, and he was signed to them.
