For some it motivates them to do better and for others its demotivating however players that come out into the pro scene from a toxic ranked environment tend to go on to do great things and its part of shaping the mindset and coping mechanisms in the long-run.

I've come from CSGO and LoL so toxicity is rooted in me from the best match I've played but it does help you grow as you get better because you start to play and think differently.
