Compared to their population they aren't that impressive IMO, but I think why Asian countries like China and Korea do well is because of their work ethic and culture. On average they work harder than let's say western people. More pressure to perform well so they put in the time and grind. Also team like EDG in Valorant is far from "best" being like top 5 team or whatever in Asia doesn't mean anything.

Huge population of ppl, really talented players. Good support coach management. They only get better.
cause they don't have enough time and place to do sports, which is kinda pathetic though. i stayed in school from 7 am to 10 pm, from monday to sunday during my high school time, game is the only entertainment i had . esports can't help you keep fit, esports is just a way for game manufacturers to promote their games.
