I looked at the storylines going into C9 v SR and analysis of what happened during it
LAST MEETINGS AND ROSTER CHANGES
-The last time these two teams met was in the group stages of Challengers 2, with SR taking the 2-0 win
-C9 would fail to make it out of groups, SR would bomb out of playoffs after starting in the lower bracket
-Neither team has made a roster change since their last encounter
HIGHLIGHT HEAD TO HEADS
-Leaf vs mada: mada fell short of leaf, going 7-9 against the rival duelist flex. In their last encounter, leaf went 13-5 against mada, despite losing 2-0
-Mitch vs bdog: In their last meeting, bdog went 6-9 against mitch. In this rematch the pair broke even going 10-10, and even 2-2 on op kills
THE MAPS, THE ROUNDS, AND THE FRAGS
-SR have a 62% WR on Fracture, it is also their least played maps (possible recency bias)
-Both teams split their pistols, with SR winning 2 and C9 winning 2
-This match had a lot of ecos, with C9 winning 3 and SR winning 4 across both maps
-Leaf led the server in 2Ks, with 10
-bdog led the server in 3Ks, with 5
-vanity, leaf, and xeppaa all had 4k rounds at some point in the series
-with the exceptions of vanity, mitch, and bdog, everyone in the server played 2 agents
ADDITIONAL STATS
-bdog put up an impressive 14/6 FK/FD
-all successful clutches from SR were by moose (two 1v1s and one 1v2)
-Xeppaa did not die first or get a first blood on ascent. Vanity did the same on fracture
-leaf and vanity went positive against every player on SR except for BDOG
-moose put up an impressive 40% HS on ascent
-bdog on fracture had incredible stats for attacking: 404 acs, 252 adr, 25/10 KD, and 5-0 on openers (this includes attack OT rounds)
-C9 won half their OT rounds by sticking the bomb due to late molly lineups
LOOKING AHEAD
-C9 will play the Guard tomorrow for a spot in the upper bracket final
-SR will play Sentinels tomorrow to keep their chance at Champions alive
