For most of my life I've been searching for what unites us as people, what even was us? But I knew, when the world presented us with death, we would unite. And with such a tragedy we unite. I know that my 29 year journey of the answer to my questions would be answered, but I hoped that it would be in less dire circumstances. “Technoblade did so much for so many people, he made millions of peoples worlds a brighter place” and that is so true. Watching the video presented by his father I really struggled to watch, cancer is in everyone’s live. My father has been battling it for 5 years! and I know that sometime this year I will have to say goodbye to him, and that is one of the scariest things on this planet.
Most of my time on this earth has been spent obnoxiously denying claims to an afterlife and boasting my atheism. But now I really hope there is an afterlife, because Technoblade deserves it. When presented with a tragedy we must unite. Unite, a word that I had struggled with for so long and i finally understand it because a minecraft youtuber died.

I lost my grandpa to cancer a couple of years ago. That was my first encounter of losing a loved one. When they leave their absence hurts more than anything, but the only thing that hurts more is the realization you will never hear their laugh again. It hurts that you will never hug them again. It hurts that you will never hear their sweet voice. It hurts looking back and thinking to yourself that “man I should’ve spent more time with them” or that “man I wish I wasn’t such an asshole all the time.” I spent 4 years of my life staying in India with my grandpa and made countless memories in that period, but after that I got busy with other things. I just wish I’d taken a couple of days out of my year to call him, go back to him, I just wish I had spent a little bit more time with my grandpa because before you know it they’re gone.

Please don’t take anytime granted with loved ones because before you know it they’re gone.
