I support Franchise only if we have a Ladder system. Its pointless having tier 2/3 if they can't thrive to get to tier 1

Open Quali > Close Quali > VRL > VCT > Franchise > Masters > Champions

At the same time
Franchise > Masters > Champions

Franchise >> masters

so masters only will have franchise teams

VRL >> will have mini masters between regional VRLs ( KOREA + NA + EMEA etc..)

Champions ( 14 teams from franchise ) ( 2 teams from VRLs )

thats how 2023 will work

i believe that there should be

five north america slots (like the restauraunt five guys)
eighteen slots for india (viewership = good team)
two slots for europe (fpx and fnc, everyone else irrelevant smh)
one slot for the mea part of emea (middle east and africa????)
nine slots for japan (if most of the tournament participants are japanese, theres a higher chance of the dub coming through)
π slots for mars, underrated region that deserves more viewership
