Three new events in Riot Games' Ignition Series were announced today, taking place across North America and Europe.

WePlay! VALORANT Invitational

The first event is the WePlay! VALORANT Invitational in Europe from July 13 to 19 with a $50,000 prize pool. Eight teams will participate, with six of them invited and two from the open qualifiers. The invited teams are:

The open qualifiers take place on July 13 to 14, with two single-elimination brackets consisting of 128 teams each. The main event will start with a swiss bracket group stage from July 15 to 17, followed by a single-elimination playoffs on July 18 and 19.

PAX Arena VALORANT Invitational

The second event is the PAX Arena VALORANT Invitational in North America from July 22 to 26 with a $25,000 prize pool, and $10,000 of the pool going to the champions.

A total of 20 teams will compete, which include 16 pro teams and four influencer teams. The preliminaries take place on July 22 to 23, followed by an eight team playoffs from July 24 to 26.

Mandatory.GG Cup

The last event announced is the Mandatory.GG Cup in Europe from July 31 to August 2 with a €15,000 prize pool. It is the second notable tournament hosted by the organization since their previous cup in May.

128 teams will participate, with up to 30 slots reserved for professional teams and influencers. A player must be ranked at least Platinum 1 in ranked mode in order to register for the event. They also stated that only the teams with the higher average level will be selected instead of randomly drawn.
