It was a very close game but i think FPX wasn't really at their best mechanics wise yesterday, especially Zyppan looked very uncomfortasble shooting wise yesterday, while Acend mechanical prowess really shined yesterday, especially starxo, he has been insane lately on the entries and MONSTEER, on Breeze and split he was an absolute demon.
ACEND definetely has the firepower to make it to masters, along with fnatic, the battle for the spot between them,GUILD and FPX is definetley going to be really interesting
Acend gonna qualify to maters 2, go on another run and win the whole tournament.
My summary of yesterdays game:
FPX - troll quite a lot. Bind was just solo play show from them. Looked like they hadn't prepared much there. Individually some of them were underperforming slightly IMO. Ardiis wasn't hitting much in map 1 and 2 and Zyppan was pretty weak most series. Just felt like this wasn't high stake game for FPX and you could see it in their gameplay. Could be wrong
Acend - definitely looking better than before. Individually most of them were on and they were outaiming and outtrading FPX for most part. They were also playing more of meta comps and that clearly helps them as well. Obviously still some clear problems, but it looked more promising. It gave me some hope for future of this team.
and about the main question: I think 3rd spot will be fought between Acend and Guild, so Acend's chances are all about how Guild looks and obviously how much Acend can improve.
yeah the thing with acend is their consistency so i hope they bring it up, also i think they will be bootcamping for playoffs so this could give them some kind of buff
That's some Copium listing the players from FPX that didn't have a good series, while not mentioning the good ones like suygetsu or Ange yoru, just to make it look like, Acend won, only coz these FPX players didn't show up.

Suygetsu had amazing Breeze (like always), but Ardiis and Zyppan didn't play as well as they usually do.
I think they have a high chance. They are playing consistently for more than month and I think they can keep their form. They also don't rely on 1 player which is huge factor too
they can their 1st playoff game is a free win whoever it is navi/m3c/big
their only challenge now will be guild if they win they qualify to masters
lower bracket will be much harder as fpx or fnatic will be there + an in form liquid
ummm i don't necessarily think big is better than m3c and also pressure wise i think having big as their first match would make them relieved imo

nah we played before vs m3c and won 13-0 and they were good at the time. now will be easier.
about navi now i watch the match and navii looking good
they made the playoffs when cned was bad imagine what this team could do if cned was good

I hope so, slowly improving. They are no shitters in terms of firepower. They have insane aimers and players. If the individual plays are polished from vakk, cned chamber, we can definitely see them atleast 3rd.
I would say no, but with the other teams performing badly, maybe Acend have a chance
