Teams that are out

I've always been wondering this, do teams that don't qualify for group stage (or gone for the rest of the year) still get paid? Specifically the players?

I assume so, they're still contracted. IDK if teams do some sort of performance related contract where they're payed less if they dont qual or something, but I think they have to get paid something
