Sentinels rn in the Open Qualifiers is already getting numbers that Masters matches got on the main stream. If they had a chance at getting to masters I wonder what the viewership could possibly be
delusional_sentinels_fan1 [#2]we won't know because in this form they won't get there

yea really sad honestly i was hoping that Kanpeki would create a sudden increase in performance on the sen roster but alas that was too much to ask for. Now all we can really do is wait for their prac and actual comps and see how they do when theyre fully trying to win

they look like the exact same team playing the exact same way just worse comps honestly
AverageJoe [#8]that's why SEN being bad is a big loss to the esports scene. viewership will go down and ppl just stop watching (a lot of ppl watch depending on which stream has the most views). If you want valorant esports to flourish, you should be rooting for SEN. Simple as
Thats true honestly, this masters' viewership was clearly not as high as it wouldve been had 1 sentinels qualed and 2 (ofc the more detrimental one) FPX, M3C qualed or at least FNC looked good. There was no hype this tournament in any of G2s or Louds matches. Ofc that second one was the bigger factor but i feel that sen wouldve probably saved the viewership and allowed val to reach another viewership peak this tournament. The amount of upsets and the teams that werent able to qualify this time around just destroyed it honestly

No i dont think so at all actually. If you mean the exact same way as stage 1 then maybe yea but i feel like we need the champions sen to come back soon cause that sen were actually quite a good team they just needed a few more protocols and more discipline which should be solved now since kanpeki is there to improve the environment and work ethic of sentinels

people downvote u but is true. Most casual only watch when they know some players who are playing. Same for CSGO.

I think its more tenz fans and also a lot of ppl hate watching sentinels lmao for various reasons from their dominance, to hating tenz/zombs.

Yea thats just the truth honestly. I dont watch a lot of the matches where I personally dont have any emotional investment or attachment. I honestly dont understand why people cant except some facts when it comes to this stuff just because SEN are in the conversation.

they are popular cause they stream, which is why they arent getting into masters. what a cycle lol

I dont think its tenz fans at all. Its just the emotional attachment that people have to Sen since they were the first team to ever show true dominance in valorant and people have that investment into them due to that and the fact that no one else has ever been able to replicate it yet. People want to see the day that sen get back to that level of dominance again. Ofc there are the tenz fans and thats inevitable but I feel like people dont want to accept the fact that Sen at their best were just a really entertaining team to watch
The way they play with their tendency to let the opponents back into the match when SEN have a huge lead is just the kind of thing that attract people to scripted television. Like in a TV show or WWE where they make sure the tension is high throughout the broadcast, in that sense it looks like SEN matches are scripted and produces more interest and excitement

yeah i mean stage 1 SEN.

i think theyre looking worse. Everyone is out of their roles with this roster. The addition of Kanpeki changed both Sick and Dapr's role.

It only changed sicks role, dapr is still playing everything that he was before kanpeki was on the team. He was the one that was originally running chamber on the team if that is what youre referring to
