if masters 2 had an audience how many of you would actually consider attending?
visa and other stuff aside, just travelling to watch the event
Giannero [#4]I know it might sound pessimistic but first of all we gotta hope there will be a masters 2
why would it not happen? lmao
minte [#6]why would it not happen? lmao
I might get banned if I say it, so guess it yourself, I'll give you a hint, FPX couldn't attend masters cuz of it

"discussions about how that might impact valorant esports will be tolerated."
masters 2 doesn't have to be in europe though

You didn't really get the point, I'm talking about the case it won't be in europe anymore, but it wil be bigger
Iceland is a very bad spot to conduct masters in.
I think they should host the event in a city which is already popular as a tourist destination so that people actually have something to do in the time that matches are not being played. In cities like Reykjavik, people will wake up, get ready watch a game and then pretty much return back to their hotels for 2 weeks. There are some tourist spots but nothing to brag about. Maybe you could take a hot bath in Nuclear wastewater lmao.
Instead, they could host the event in an already popular city so that the people can go roam around the city in the evening. Therefore VCT Masters could be a morning thing after which you just enjoy your normal holiday.
Spending 3K dollars on VCT might not be very attractive but spending around 6-7K on a trip to Paris for a couple of weeks along with VCT sounds fair to me.
