Looks like some teams are just used to study so hard to win against teams on their regions but when they're playing against "unknown" teams they just shock because they're not adaptability.. too much used to play against same teams so they win just studying but overall they sucks.

they study to win against specific teams but that doesn't make them good at all
Just because you can win against a TOP 1 team by studying them will not make you a better team overall.

Good take. Also "minor" regions usually have 1 dominant team that rolls everyone so its harder to read them based on vods and stuff. While teams in better regions have to constantly show a lot of their stuff against good opponents. COPIUM

i think being able to adapt on the fly is why drx and optic are still rly complete teams. Zeta is rly good at counterstratting which make em go rly far against heavily structured teams. Prx is rly good at fast takes on map control which is why they rly good against emea teams who heavily respect util. This masters event is wicked cuz it ends in some really cool rock paper scissors typa vibe.

Yeah It's all about being able to adapt.
Sadly just because a team is a beast in a region doesn't make them the best to adapt to win against every single team out there.
Winning in a region just make them the best in that region + studied hard to win against top teams there but that doesn't make them no.1 in terms of adaptability to win against every single team out there.

When you play too much against same team, same players, you start getting used to how they play so you can win against them, but playing against unknown is what really matter to win internationals events.

Stephen Hawking famously said, 'Intelligence is the ability to adapt to change. <-- That's what matter imo.

Yeah it matter too.
ZETA almost lose against many teams in Japan so it means every team in Japan is at same level as ZETA? No.
ZETA is winning because they adpted really fast their gameplay during this masters not every team would be able to do something like this in my opinion.

Also teams in Jp studied really hard ZETA to be able to win against them, so winning in a region doesn't mean anything tbh.
Take this as example: https://twitter.com/Flarejpn/status/1502546831641055236
FAV Coach did 73pages PDF to win against BB's SMTH team
Does that make FAV better than BB in terms of adaptability? NO.
I'm sure BB would do better than FAV if they're playing against "unknown" teams.
Just saying it as an example.
