everybody loves an underdog run
Underdog run is good till it ends in a disappointment and eventually benefits the wrong teams. Like in Champions League right now, Villareal knocked out Bayern and Juventus from the competition but now they are missing their captain and most valuable player to a hamstring injury that either will last a week or for rest of the season. This directly benefits Liverpool who will have a easy route to Finals.

I just think it's ridiculous how fans want every single game to be an upset. Also hyping up teams after a single game like xerxia
