We have to be honest, he hasn't been able to keep up with his team individually in a long time. He joined Envy/Optic out of friendship or something similar, there's no chance such a strong team would have a potato captain.
zardinez [#3]Shaz is better than FNS mechanically but a much worse IGL
impossible to say since he is the only one on the team that does anything. FNS has 4 teammates that try
chauste [#5]impossible to say since he is the only one on the team that does anything. FNS has 4 teammates that try
I mean Tenz plays insane once in a blue moon but Shaz is much more consistent. I actually really like his Sova util too, his shocks are usually really good. At the same time, Sen is just in such a rutt that I find hard to believe they'll make it to internationals ever again with this roster.

imagine if they practice HMMMMMMMMMM
gutszeraa [#9]cant wait until valorant fans get out of the "you need a fragging igl" phase
Nah, that phase won't go away. It's something that we even see in real sports to this day, people think that a good leader needs to be an insane player too, when that's not strictly necessary in reality.
chauste [#5]impossible to say since he is the only one on the team that does anything. FNS has 4 teammates that try
or his strats are bad
gutszeraa [#9]cant wait until valorant fans get out of the "you need a fragging igl" phase
I think you got it wrong, I didn't say IGL has to do insane frags. But it's different when many have been making bad matches or more months. Just watching him doesn't see a gameplay worthy of Masters.
elayaCL [#17]The difference here is that FNS is indeed a really good IGL, and for fragging you got another 4 guys to fill that, even in their different roles
I agree, but it's not every day that the 4 are fine, don't you think?
Pixsy [#10]imagine if they practice HMMMMMMMMMM
Yeah imagine all you want, they need a culture shift, and I haven't seen anything indicating that they'll have one
100TBoeJiden [#12]FNS is top 5 IGL in the world.
better than boaster
he is an really good igl, but talking about mechanics he is not one of the best
Xaves [#18]I agree, but it's not every day that the 4 are fine, don't you think?
of course, but does a team have that kind of consistency?
If the others aren't having their best day, it's not necessarily FNS' fault.
I know it sounds like i'm defending FNS, but it's just an opinon about how i see this team from outside. And the timing may help o that, becuase we are looking at a one in 20 matches when FNS has been fragging and making really good decisions
gutszeraa [#9]cant wait until valorant fans get out of the "you need a fragging igl" phase
You don't NEED a fragging IGL. But if your IGL can also frag hard then it makes life so much easier for the rest of the team. Look most of the elite CSGO teams in history, all the IGLs are mechanically solid.
dejikke [#20]he is an really good igl, but talking about mechanics he is not one of the best
doesn’t need mechanics when you have brains. that’s why he has yay and victor.
brains and leadership are rare commodity. look at EU they lack it both

yess, with his brain and yay's aim they look really good

i mean... boombl4 and karrigan are both super weak individually and often throw their lives away in order to get better info for the rest of the team, kinda similar to the way FNS plays, and glaive does half the time on T side. the teams that have super strong fragging igls but arent surrounded by straight up superstars like BIG or NIP normally struggle

boombl4 is actually quite decent. he just looks bad compared to his all star teammates.
