I think there's a large amount of people who dislike him mainly because they don't speak english as first language so it gets kinda hard to understand sarcasm in voice tones for some, not to say there aren't other reasons to dislike him ofc

Him having a huge ego is just a mental-protection to not lose his mind over "oh im not fragging, or im not goated".
