Optic #1 vs Xerxia #9 (xerxia won)
KRU #7 vs Liquid #10 (Liquid won)
Fnatic no derke #6 vs NiP #11 (NiP won)
DRX #6 vs ZETA #12 (DRX won)
called the plat chat for a reason
idgaf about platchat personally but,
Optic: hard choke really, i mean you could literally see it. yay whiffing freebies as the extraordinarily consistent player, weak decision making as a whole(not yay specific), cmon. That was not their real selves. doesnt take away from the victory from xerxia but lets look at the matches.
KRU: Scream literally opened the interview saying he thinks they're a bit of a kryptonite for KRU and that KRU plays different vs them. If you don't idolize him idk who else you would: trust in pros talking about their matches.
Fnatic: Can someone inform me as to whether or not they knew derke was absent from this match? cuz if they knew then was it at least a 2-1 prediction? surely not a 2-0 thats just disrespectful. And if they didnt know, i mean come on. EDIT: guy below literally shows sideshow posting on twitter that with the subs, nip would win.
DRX: Everyone was right about this match.
xerxia is not a better team. they still came through on the only day that matters, and optic-did not.
optic did not look like they had trash setups, they made bad decisions. they didnt have worse teamplay they just made the wrong macro choices. when the big kills needed to happen they fell short. they were not winners that day, and xerxia capitalized.
there are many types of win conditions inside and outside of the server. optic need to get back to keeping it inside the server and then we will get to see what they can really do. xerxia are near immune to those "outside" conditions if crws is really leaving after this, patiphan the first time, having nothing to lose is no-joke of a mental buff. I am still cheering for them they are fun to watch.
surf is growing individually and that is the note the casters keep making from the interviews with xerxia that they dont expect shit rn they just expect him to have this as a great learning experience. "for everyone else" i mean its not like any team playing in this doesnt practice rigorously. this is not a concept that only exists on match days its every other day. the days where ur preparing and ironing things out. thats when it comes into effect. and that affects growth of a team. thats what that means. -you aren't building up a storyline for yourselves the same way, u don't have the same emotional buy in, that doesnt mean it doesnt exist by any means but there is no pressure.
nah, you are writing a novel lol. Ofc xerxia gonna say they don't expect shit. Thats pretty much all underdog teams mentality. That doesn't mean they have "nothing to lose" and feel no pressure because someone is leaving after. They won against optic twice because they are the better team. All these excuses don't matter.
excuses? these are factors my guy. this isnt a discussion this is me explaining shit. "ofc they are gonna say taht" bro what???? that is NOT what 'underdogs' say. they are talking about surf specifically. u dont even know what Im talkin about and im referencing an interview i barely saw. i am not here to inform u about any of that.
