Its not free slots, Japan go through playoffs and only one team goes to Masters. Japan has more viewership than 90% of the other countries. If they got their slot taken, japanese would probably stop watching Valorant, which would surely decrease the amount of people in Japan that want to be pros

Exactly this. In turn, that would cause the Japanese region to get even worse, and definitely not qualify, which means the region just dies. It's a cycle.
I don't care if we have Korean or Japanese Teams or even Brazilian ones. All i wanna see is good Games and not T3 vs T1 Games. How do you think it makes this Tournament fair? Groups who have Japanese Teams in it have it much easier while other Groups are more difficult because they wasn't lucky enough to have a Japanese Team in their Group.
