My reason is:
Previously, DRX's igl was never a weak link, with glow being consistent even with his age, and stax arguably being the strongest player while igling.
No disrespect to Zest, he is a smart player with good calling and strats. However, his firepower is not significantly weaker, but is noticeably weaker compared to others on the drx roster.
What do y'all think? Can Zest step up like before and lead drx to international greatness?
sure he is mechanically weaker but the mechanics of the rest of the team have gone up. rb being on initiator back in berlin and champs was not very good and he performed not as well as he used to do with duelist. does rb have a higher ceiling on jett than buzz? probably not. but i believe he will be more consistent on jett than buzz was which is what we need.
buzz moving to sentinels was huge. obviously losing king is big but buzz filling that roll almost perfectly, and having the potential to top frag every game with sentinel is so important.
tldr: i believe our duelist role only slightly got weaker, but with the benefit of more consistent results its not even a downgrade at all. and also our sentinel role got a stronger as well. so i think these factors make up for zests mechanics, not to mention in terms of utility, zest is the best sova weve had

I kind of agree but from what I heard he's the igl which is much more important than fragging. His fragging isn't so weak that it's much of an issue. Firepower is definitely not Drx's issue, instead, it's Korea as whole being focused mostly on executes and not being as good at playing slow defaults and being adaptive.

Nah i disagree . If you look at Liquids recent matches Jampii has improved leaps and bounds .
