i don't usually watch EU valorant, so can someone tell me why scream is playing skye for liquid when he's the best player on the team and arguably one of the best mechanical players in the world?

sage is easier to frag on than skye, also he clearly shouldn't be playing a hard support like that; doesn't matter if he's still capable of fragging on skye
ScreaM never been good support player, never ever during his career. Due to small Sliggy brain, playing on support and 0 IGLing jamppi skills, no structure, no fundamentals, ScreaM can't find out what to do. Such players like him just need to see and kill, so on well rounded team he would be one of the best players in the world.

if ScreaM was able to play good Jett (or was willing to/was let to) there wouldn't be any problems. Jett is way more useful than ScreaM's classic Reyna.

Jamppi's Jett is pretty bad and he works way better as flex player. Like tell me what is ScreaM's role in this team? Skye one trick? His Skye seems pretty mediocre. Reyna one trick? Reyna is irrelevant agent. Kay/O one trick? His Kay/O wasn't anything amazing either. He only has his aim, but can't play useful agents.
