OVERWATCH 2 is gonna kill valorant
but VALORANT 2 will counterstrike and kill overwatch two before it can be anything
Nah, people have realised that competitive shooters like CSGO and Valorant are the future. My Fortnite/COD friends have switched over to Valorant LOL
most people switched over to valorant because they were burnt out of their current game
i may sound biased and i'm speaking from experience but if overwatch was as acessible as valorant it'd have way more number, probably more numbers than valorant and csgo
wrong! apex legends is the future, i stopped playing dinosaurs for apex legends
OW2 is gonna be another dead on arrival game, you can quote me on this. They just doesn't seem to change the game much.
Even Faker has said that playing LoL is no longer fun, Riot has ruined the game by trying to decrease the difficulty of earning rankings by inflating the high elos, plus the client that to this day has not been fixed and the countless bugs and trolls that are not punished. The competitive today survives because of LPL and LCK. LEC is irrevelant competitively, only 1 team is competitive and the rest serve to meet the table, LCS became a retirement home for Asians and Europeans, CBLOL is a joke since forever, only has major level in viewers, (TCL, LLA, LCO, LCL and LJL) are dying for lack of viewers and investments from Riot itself in maintaining these leagues and finally, PCL and VCS in the near future will be absorbed by LPL and LCK. The competitive LoL is a very large bubble that can burst, it only needs a big slip by Riot that ends the competitive and taking along a large part of casual players who still play only because of the competitive.
I'm sure riot know that their games won't hold on to the test of time, that's why they tried to expand as much as possible before that happens milking LoL as much as possible. You can see this happening actually by looking at Arcane and the new Riot MMO which they're working on
Riot is investing a lot even in the music industry and in animations and they are having a lot of success there
Yeah, it's noticable how now they tried to expand and basically focus on the world building and entertainment more compared to the past when they focus solely on eSports. The game quality sure is suffering, but hey at least we get to see the quality entertainment that riot produce
This means nothing in competitive stability, today in Riot's main leagues there are 4 majors and 8 minors, of the 4 majors the LCS has declined so much that even the LFL is getting better numbers and of the 8 minors, 1 has already been abandoned by Riot (LCO) and 4 are in the process of having the same end as the LCO (LLA, LCL, TCL and VCS), leaving only 3 minors that are still stable (CBLOL, PCS and LJL). The game will not die suddenly but is heading for a possible end if Riot does not take an attitude to renew again the competitive scene (casual and professional) that today is the most attractive part of LOL.
what r u on about. i specifically remember lck hitting 120k+ views (t1 vs dk) on both the eng and kr twitch stream so like 250k off a regular season game twitch views. not to mention this doesnt factor is the MASSIVE chinese streaming sites and korean streaming sites. and on twitch they average over 100k combined at the bare minimum even with shit lck teams playing.
This gotta be the funniest thread u ever made tbh 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Isn't overwatch 2 basically overwatch with like a few more maps and agents and 5v5?
