why do no tier 1 jetts also play raze

Its obvious that jett and raze are the two primary duelists however on maps like fracture, split, bind, I have not seen one primary jett duelist flex over to raze. It is always a flex player.

Ex: cned, tenz, leaf, cryo

Edit: i forgot derke and deffo play both but its a rare occurrence

He can play raze, he used to before he switched to jett. Just because someone doesn't flex to raze doesn't mean they can't. Xeppa either likes it more/is better at it.

Xeppaa is also a more natural entry fragger where leaf has been both an entry and a lurk so he fits the viper role better

raze requires more mechanical skill than jett. In my opinion, OW players can play both jett and raze because they have a good mechanically movement since the beginning like sinatraa, patiphan

jett requires way more mechanical skill than raze

raze other than blastpacks has one of the easiest kits to learn cuz its literally just yeet explosives all over the place

jett knives require more mechanical skill then a rifle and its even harder to use them along with the updraft, dash and smoke

jett knives require an accurate aim ... even i can't play raze I still can play jett's knives with one shot while jumping or floating in the air
(Maximum plat3 with old non-gaming laptop on 60Hz, avg fps 60-100)

raze requires a better mouse control, flick, decision, muscle memory, maps acknowledgement, maps' spot . If you just remember where and how to jump from youtube and saying it is easy so it's that you are inflexible af.players like that can't really play in a big compet like VCT MASTER CHAMPION that's why so many duelist players only good at jett.

gear diff ? pc diff ? laptop diff ? 144hz-240hz 200-300fps vs 60hz less than 100 fps as usual ?

and everyone can analyze the game even they're not pro players
that's why they have coach understanding how the game runs

everyone can analyze the game they just arent always right like in ur case

also unless ur on like 30fps u cant blame ur pc
according to shroud u can go pro on 60 fps

LMAO someone born to be pro player with excellent talent and fast improvement. Im not like shroud, just an ordinary guy.
I peaked at MASTER in LOL but in val, there is a huge gap in terms of gadget and equipment

plat 3 is good for me with my gadget and hours play time during studying in university (1-2 days per week and 3-4 days if there is no homework or exam that week) rn.

nobody ever complains that a smokes player can only play the most meta smoker and no other agent

if a duelist player is only playing the maps where jett is meta then them playing only jett is a good thing

Most teams yeah. I think C9 is slightly different with Leaf being Jett and also Viper or whatever while Xeppa goes from Kayo to Raze. Also, Optic for example are trying to use Yay on Chamber instead of Jett with pretty mixed results.

in early 2021 the meta was double duelist but then the meta changed so the raze players were forced to play flex and jetts kept on jett, that is why flex players move onto raze, because they are comfortable and great at the agent

so u put ur flex on raze and either run double duelist or have ur oper on chamber or sage for cNed

Aspas is the best in them 2, Jett and Raze. 278ACS top 1 of the tournament.

Mwzera also had an insane Raze, but his Jett wasn't so good. The dude was so insane that he was top 1 from Brazil as a player in 2020. Receiving the award for that.

I am the only one or is everyone else overreacting to TenZ's one bad game on Raze. It was one game and everyone is like he is dogshit at Raze. He even switched to Jett on Split and he still wasnt doing well. I think its more about Split than Raze.

Raze is still the most common duelist for Jett mains as it always has been, though some teams prefer to leave Raze role for a specific non-Jett main player within their team(Al0rante, nukkye, zeek and such). Players such as Derke, d3ffo, twisten, QutionerX, Izzy, Fit1nho, Shalaby, Polvi, AslaN, Rhyme, Yacine and many... many more actually do play Jett-Raze.

Only skilled duelists like Derke and Deffo can master and perform on both. ScreaM can play Skye, Kayo, Reyna which is even more impressive because soulcas plays the Neons and Raze.

I'll try to explain briefly why I think he is the best player in the world
Despite his insane aim and movement
The best way to know if a player is a good duelist is RAZE. There is a BIG difference between a good duelist and a jett abuser
If he is a good duelist, he needs to be good with raze.

heat? not good with raze
aspas? not good with raze
xand? not good with raze
tenz? not good with raze
cned? not good with raze
scream? not good with raze
d3ffo? not good with raze
derke? not good with raze

Thats why I think he is undoubtely the best player in the world. If RIOT by any means decides to nerf jett and shift the meta we prolly not gonna even hear names like cned and tenz again :>
He is not killing 40+ per map because when he joined VK he was forced to play a different role because heat is already a main jett... and lets be honest, every single duelist nowadays gets 20+ kills per map because team and setups are basically built around you (even steel managed to get 20 kills with it https://www.vlr.gg/29398/sentinels-vs-100-thieves-champions-tour-north-america-stage-3-challengers-playoffs-gf/?game=46692&tab=overview)
