New Meta?

Double smokes on all maps except icebox and breeze
Ascent: Astra, Brim, Sova, Jett, Kayo
Bind: Astra, Chamber/brim, Sova, Raze, Viper
Split: Astra, Viper, Skye, Chamber, Raze
Haven: Astra, Brim, Sova, Jett, skye/chamber
Icebox: Viper, Sage, Chamber, Sova, Jett
Breeze: Viper, Chamber, Jett, Sova, Kayo
Fracture: Viper, Astra, Raze, Breach, Chamber

this is my take on the new changes. Brim i think has slightly better util for a team then Omen and with Astra's limited stars means that more smokes may be required.
Astra is still the best controller but after using her util to execute. She's useless. Having a brimstone for the smokes on a execute and astra for her suck and stun would make a retake impossible with the delaying utility that would be on hand. Idk i like the idea of Brim-Astra meta.

its my take. probably a lot of flaws but I think this might be good to use.

Astra has really good delaying util. Cypher's util will get broken and is mainly used for info more then to get kills.

Phoenix, Neon and Reyna all gonna get buffed

I see this happening in pro play for sure. For ranked, however, I feel like it will still be the normal double duelist, smoke, initiator, sentinel. That's for my region at least. Hopefully, we see a lot of Brim, Omen, and Yoru in VCT now!

Im talking pro play ofc. In comp no one is coordinated enough to not just double smoke one spot. Competitive Meta wont change unless they nerf Jett and sova to the ground.

I haven, fracture and breeze are the only attacker sided maps and all of them are viper or astra maps. Astra is still viable on haven and brim already gets picked on fracture sometimes.

i think omen needs more buffs to be viable. Omen can be interchanged with Astra or brim tho but really depends on a pro teams plays and playstyle. I had him on split but opted for astra cuz i still think shes better.

imo if youre going double smokes, do viper and any other controller.
