They shot at the same time. I have seen this in CS too and even done one myself.
i think it's because the kay/o was ulted. i have seen it multiple times even in pro play that ulted phoenix can trade themselves. same thing happening here.
this works with pheonix and kay/o ult.
It happened with me once, was about to get an ace after being trolled on Viper. Actually got 5k but didn't win so doesn't count as ace ig.
I don't remember which region it was cuz lot happened rn, but saw this in a VCT qualifiers too.
This happened to me in deathmatch too somehow. quite interesting
