LOL, this is definitely not the move. Mixwell was carrying on the game vs Alliance, role problems seemed like the bigger issue to me (Sova nukkye).
Either way, sad for G2 cya in VCT stage 2! (Maybe they will buy alliance roster by then!)
We all agree G2 is sometimes a clown org for making roster changes waay to quickly. But this is also a consequence of nukkye kicking out keloqz in the first place tbh. If keloqz wasn't kicked, then mix would be in a support-flex role and IGLing properly, instead of G2 signing another sentinel like Meddo, independently of how good or bad he is. Now mixwell payed the consequences of this and he is out of the org.
I think they will need to make some changes eventually, the entire g2 core lost its footing not only mixwell imo, tho in the meantime they should try some stuff out. Just look at their recent matches, they lost every time: https://www.vlr.gg/team/257/g2-esports
The reason he gets punished must be because of his (m1xwells) decisions about who to sign and drop for the Team. I am pretty sure it was m1xwell himself who asked for the new signings and droping of some Players and the Team didn't deliver as he thought or promised so he gets punished for his decisions. Anotherwise it would look like he don't have to care about anything and can do whatever he wants just because he is m1xwell and has a lot of spanish fans. G2 here is just saying we are bigger than you, don't forget.
I kinda would like to see nukkyes face after this decision. I bet they didn't care about his feelings towards keloqz and they kinda want him to say anything wrong so they can just drop him like a hot potato.
And yes, i personally don't like nukkyes playing. He has his moments, yes, but he has also his moments when he is useless/not a help for a whole half and that's something i don't like from him.
This is very far fetched, they got a coach that demands full control and super structured play, and he then brought in 2 role players (although Hoody is a star flex player) from his own old team. That chain of decisions does not seem to fit what an entitled star player would ask for.
And regarding benching Kellogs.... well nukkye seemed to take responsibility for that lol
seems like keloqz leaving there is just lots of role confusion because you dont have an insanely cracked player who will be the 1st duelist and mixwell is NOT that player. hes was solid as a viper/kj/cypher player but hes not mechanically gifted enough to play 1st duelist.
nukkye playing viper/sova is honestly trolling as well. hes a good player but i dont think he should flex to smokes and sova. keep him on raze/reyna/sage
but i found it surprising that mixwell is the one that got the boot?? idk
I doubt nukkye is that good with a Duelist that teams wanna sign him for his Duelist Skills. He is interesting for Pro Teams because of his decision makings. He should be able to show his full potential with any Agent. In the end he uses Guns like any other too. If he were super talented with the OP i would agree but he isn't.
He was not the problem... but let's face it, having someone like Keloqz benched was a big mistake. At the minimum team error the Jett would be the first to go out, which is the case. I love Mixwell with all my heart but the only reason I would keep him as Jett over Keloqz would be because his IGLing was working. He can come back in the future though, let's see what happens.
