This is my main account (several hundred games, NOT a smurf), peak Gold 2. 3 match MVP losses, 2 team MVP wins, and a meh Viper game.

I'm immortal 2 and I lose games in low-mid gold on my smurf despite having 400+ acs on cypher, shit happens, people in that elo are brainless and throw rounds left and right. If you wanna rank up just pick reyna, when you feel that you are no longer out-aiming everyone you switch back to support agents.

i think i’ve match MVPed 5/6 of my duelist games, but i struggle to trust teammates to fill so i rarely instalock. it’s not like i’m THAT much better than other golds, but maybe i’ll start instalocking. cant be worse than your average 11-16 instalock lurking gold reyna.

Just check my career, I won all games on reyna but lost 2 games out of 6 on cypher in silver/gold lobbies. People have no clue how to play on attack, so if you have no flashes or movement abilities on your agent you are kinda fucked because your teammates will just sit at site entance and bait each other. Lurking also does not really work because golds sit in weird corners/have different timings compared to 100-250 rr immortal lobbies, plus your team is doing nothing and creates no space for you to lurk, you have to be paranoid and lose tons of time checking every possible position.

Same can be said in like any lower rank in any game. I swear gold players on Valorant are better than diamonds. I have the same problem on CS. I queue against shitty lvls 3-4s and somehow they drop 25. No game sense or brain but have somewhat decent aim or they just accident you. Just play like headless chickens.

i’m using an LMG on defense with sova, so it makes sense if you look at it that way lol. other games are near 30% i think.

solid stats for support. i think every support player should duo with a duelist. i typically duo with another support, which may be part of my problem. we can anchor both sites, but attack is more nuanced.
