It will surely be less than what it could have been, just because it is against same region (NA vs NA would have been the same). We have seen the same story in that region many times.
Matches have been great, most of them are close 2-1.
And all the upsets are amazing too.
And for NA being a Streaming Region, It is equally important to have a fanbase who want to watch you and see you succeed and they will surely not watch other teams when their favorite player is not playing. Why can't EU have that. This is same in other games too, watching goes through the roof whenever Miracle's team is playing in Dota2.
