Riot have announced details for First Strike: Latin America, organized in association with GGTech. Similar to the Ignition Series, the region will be split into North Latin America (LAN) and South Latin America (LAS), with both regions' First Strike events boasting a $15,000 USD prize pool.

Each region's tournament will feature three stages: One Open Qualifier, one Closed Qualifier, and finally the main event. A rough schedule can be seen below:

  • Signups: November 13 - 21
  • Open Qualifier: November 23 - 26
  • Closed Qualifier: November 28 - December 1
  • Main Event: December 3 - 6

The prize pool breakdown for both regions will be:

  • 1st: $8,000 USD
  • 2nd: $4,000 USD
  • 3rd: $2,000 USD
  • 4th: $1,000 USD

Signups are currently open for the open qualifiers in the LAN and LAS regions.
